This piece is the second part of a triptych about love, sexuality, and mortality. The second piece depicts a couple, just bones. Without skin and flesh, the figures are genderless. As the figures are cropped, they are depersonalised, and can be seen in a more conceptual sense, rather than as characters.

Less of the plywood shows through in this piece than in the other two. The golden section between the figures is bright and lustrous.
