This piece deals with heartbreak and retrospection. How the things that may have hurt us in the past become a crucial part of ourselves.

The visceral imagery is slightly disturbing, but also has a certain beauty and playfulness. The natural grain of the plywood shows through the lustrous gold, giving the piece a rich, organic feel.
